Now you officially have no excuse for not being well-read. At FreeBookSpot.in there are over 1911 free books in 81 categories. It seems as if the site has more computer programming books than any other category, there is not nearly as much literature as one would expect on a website called FreeBookSpot.in. One does not need to be a member or sign in, or anything to begin downloading or uploading books to or from the site, simply get on to the site and download. The eBooks can be voted on by the visitors of the site, but it doesn't indicate if the person is voting for the quality of the download link or the quality of the book.

A gem of a website that is a veritable treasure-trove as far as books of various hues and colors are concerned is http://knowfree.net. True to its masthead that reads 'Knowledge is Free', this website has a massive collection of e-books, magazines, tutorials, manuals, etc. filed under various categories. Once a category is selected you could browse through it and find many valuable e-books and reading material written on that particular subject.

When you click on a category, which always shows the number of books available against the name of that category, you are taken to a new page where each and every book available has a short description of it. This provides you with some information about the book prior to downloading along with comments by readers who have already downloaded it.

The latest issues of many leading computer magazines are also available for downloading on this site. Computer Graphics World, Hardcore Gamer and Personal Computer World are some of those magazines. This is not to say that old issues are not to be found. Issues as far back as January 2006 are also available on this site. Though the download links redirect you to a file sharing website such as rapidshare.com for the downloads, as I have come to know, these links are invariably working and totally hassle-free.
